Consultant Psychiatrist / Addiction Medicine Physician

Carlson Recruiters is currently partnering with a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi to recruit an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist or Addiction Medicine Physician to join its growing multidisciplinary team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialized addiction and rehabilitation setting, delivering evidence-based care to individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key Requirements
✔ Board Certification in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine (mandatory)
✔ Preferred qualifications include:
•⁠ ⁠CCT in Psychiatry (UK)
•⁠ ⁠American Board Certification in Psychiatry
•⁠ ⁠FRCPC Psychiatry (Canada)
•⁠ ⁠FRANZCP (Australia/New Zealand)
•⁠ ⁠Arab Board in Psychiatry
•⁠ ⁠Fellowship or Board Certification in Addiction Medicine is highly desirable
✔ Minimum 3 years of post-board certification experience preferred
✔ Experience in the assessment, treatment, and management of substance use disorders and dual-diagnosis patients
✔ Experience within addiction treatment, rehabilitation, or detoxification services
✔ Strong commitment to patient-centered and evidence-based care
✔ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
✔ Eligibility for DOH licensure in Abu Dhabi
✔ Arabic speaking is an advantage
