About the Role
Carlson Recruiters is currently partnering with a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi to recruit an experienced Recovery Specialist to join its multidisciplinary addiction and rehabilitation team.
This is an excellent opportunity to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders through recovery-focused interventions, care coordination, peer support, and rehabilitation planning.
Key Requirements
✔ Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or a related healthcare field
✔ Experience working within addiction treatment, rehabilitation, mental health, or recovery services (mandatory)
✔ Experience supporting individuals with substance use disorders and recovery planning
✔ Strong communication, motivational interviewing, and patient engagement skills
✔ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
✔ Current DOH License or eligibility for DOH licensure in Abu Dhabi
✔ Arabic speaking (preferred)

• Case management and recovery planning
• Peer support and relapse prevention initiatives
